In Young Life we invite kids to follow Christ, care for them regardless of their response, and change lives in the process.
Young Life doesn't start with a program. It starts with adults who are concerned enough about kids to go to them, on their turf and in their culture, building bridges of authentic friendship. These relationships don't happen overnight — they take time, patience, trust, and consistency.
We believe in the power of presence. Kids' lives are dramatically influenced when caring adults come alongside them, sharing God's love with them. Because their Young Life leader believes in them, they begin to see that their lives have great worth, meaning and purpose.

Meet our Staff!
Kelly Wamboldt - Associate Area Director
Kelly has been on staff with Young Life for 5 years! Kelly attended Penn State University where she was a volunteer Young Life leader at Penns Valley High School. In 2022, Kelly married her husband Josh who also leads Young Life at Penns Valley. She grew up in Dillsburg, PA where she first encountered Young Life as a sophomore in high school.

Cole Temple - Staff Associate
This will be Cole's first year on Young Life Staff! Cole attended Penn State and grew his love for leading students at Penns Valley High School. As Cole stepped out of college, he became more excited about working full time for Young Life! Cole will be our Wyldlife Coordinator in Centre County, and will be leading alongside his wife Megan in the State College area. Cole is from Lewisburg, PA and is proud to be a Green Dragon!

What is Committee?
Young Life is making a difference in the lives of kids around the world because we are supported by adults who care about kids in their community. For every talented Young Life staff person, there is a team of dedicated volunteer leaders which works directly with kids. In each community, the local "committee" — composed of parents, Young Life alumni and civic leaders — provides a foundation of financial, administrative and moral support for the local Young Life team.
